A musical genesis was the start point to this lil’ guy.

Adam Holzman was a keyboard / synthesizer player in one of Miles Davis’ later bands, (and also, I believe, son of Jac Holzman, founder of Elektra Records), and he released a record called “Manifesto” which contained a marvellous assault on the ears called “Captain Wax”. This piece was short, violent, and full of contrasts and would make a terrific basis for an animation.

It never got past the planning stage, (freelance animators being curiously reluctant to work for nothing). But this character was one of the cast, and I hope I can resurrect, if not the whole plot, then certainly Him The Headless.
