JOHN SCOFIELD
Longtime favourite...I first heard his band with Joe Lovano and Bill Stewart and immediately loved the changing tones he wrung out of the guitar. I drew this whilst listening to the terrific ”Scorched” with orchestral settings by Mark-Anthony Turnage. He was also kind enough to e-mail me enthusiastically after he’d seen “Impressions “at a Festival in Spain….that was a moment….oh boy!!
