FULL MOON SOUP

It was all David Bennetts fault. He (the publisher) had seen a poster for McEwans Export I’d done back in those antediluvian days when humorous illustration was commissioned for posters.(In it a bull charges into a pub, creating three storeys of accumulating chaos.)

David suggested a line of development which finally produced the Full Moon concept where each page gets progressively more disastrous than its predecessor.
