Carlos Nine : Argentinian maestro of pen and watercolour.....Oscar Grillo turned me on to Nine ( pronounced Neen-ay) and I can’t get enough of him. There is SO much to learn from an artist of this calibre and I can imagine scores of other artists lying awake at nights, pondering whether to shut his hand in a car door or just to lie back and feel inferior. One tiny, undernourished caveat….some of his distortions can push the imagery out of the earth’s atmosphere to dimensions barely dreamt.
