Mort Drucker : Oh boy..a big hero….dating back to schooldays …. Mad Magazine in the back of the bus . I marvelled then , and I STILL marvel , at the elegance of his style , and his seemingly bottomless well of skill and inspiration . I’ve always found caricaturing to be a very demanding pursuit , a very difficult thing to get right without all the effort stifling the art . But Uncle Mort just seems to hit that nail on that head again and again and again . A marvellous website for the serious Drucker devotee,indeed for the serious Illustration freak,( that of David Apatoff ) follows .
