Sir Rupert Shade. Beheaded for bad poetry in 1634. (The only example of his verse that exists today is his infamous 'Sonnet with a Bonnet Onnet').
His son, Orlando Shade was a composer of madrigals, (see 'Lady Neville's Midnight', 'My Lord Maldon's knee', and 'Hit me, my lady, one more time'). Date of Death unknown.
